Questions & Answers

At our recent 5th and 6th grade student and family night, we posted a QR code where questions could be posted -- and, at the Q & A session we were able to answer some, but not all, of the questions, Linked here is active Google Sheet where questions were (and, continued to be) posted along with an answer and the person or persons posting the response. If you have further questions regarding your or others' posts, please reach out to the individual who posted the answer. (You can find school emails on our contact page.)

AVID at Cresthill

The REALLY EXCITING PART??? Cresthill is the ONLY middle school in Highlands Ranch to offer this incredible program. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college readiness system designed to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college and career success. Through AVID, students develop critical thinking, organization, and leadership skills in a supportive environment that fosters academic achievement and personal growth. 2025-26 Student Supply List

This is a list of supplies that pretty much every student at Cresthill will need to attend to and have in hand in order to start the 25-26 school year well. Some teachers and programs require additional materials, resources, and supplies -- stay tuned for more information on that as we get closer to the start of the school year.

Please note, along with the general supplies, your student will need to have a computer device as CMS is a 1:1 school. Please note the guidance, suggestions, and options along the lines of our 1:1 computer program here at Cresthill.

Questions? Please don't hesitate to reach out the main office staff (303.387.2800) concerning supplies or to Mr. Wakefield (mdwakefield@dcsdk12.org) with questions about the 1:1 program.
